De Bijenkorf has launched its online shop in France, Ecommerce News reports.
In February 2020, word came out that the omnichannel retailer was looking to expand its business across Europe by opening a French e-commerce website.
De Bijenkorf has launched the French online store under the same name it uses in the Netherlands.
Back in February, job offers posted by De Bijenkorf revealed that the Dutch company was looking to open its digital doors in France soon. One day later, the retailer officially confirmed the upcoming launch.
France is not the first foreign market where De Bijenkorf sells clothing, home & decor items, consumer electronics, and more. The company also launched dedicated e-commerce websites in Belgium and Germany.
