Revolut will launch its first card reader

In the move, the company is looking to make payments more secure, fast and affordable

Revolut announced the launch of its first tool for accepting payments Revolut Reader. The gadget will be available to business customers in the UK and Ireland. Existing customers can order the device today. New users must first register in Revolut Business program.

New hardware device is expected to allow merchants to accept payments including contactless, Google Pay, Apple Pay, chip and pin.

The company says that Revolut Reader fees are low and transparent with no monthly charges and no hidden costs. They are deducted automatically with every transaction. The pricing of a transaction could be priced at 0.8% + £0.02 per transaction fee and a one-off cost or customised pricing for the businesses dealing with high volumes.

Also business will have access to hard-earned money fast. Funds are settled within 24 hours, even on weekends.
