Stripe has teamed up with Atlassian, a provider of team collaboration and productivity software. This way, Atlassian aims to simplify and scale its global payments and billing systems for its $1.6 billion in software revenue.

When you serve over 200,000 businesses ranging from 10 to 100,000 employees, building a homegrown billing solution to serve both SMB and enterprise businesses is a massive undertaking. By partnering with Stripe, we were able to build a scalable purchasing experience for our customers while focusing our engineering resources on bringing our product innovations to our customers faster

According to information, Atlassian chose Stripe to consolidate its payments and billing systems into a single, easy-to-use architecture.

Besides, Stripe’s Billing solution is powered by a machine learning architecture that is constantly learning from over 100,000 businesses on the Billing network. Stripe’s smart retries feature recovers 14% more revenue for their customers than those retrying failed payments on a set schedule.

What is more, Stripe Billing provides teams with unparalleled adaptability and ease of use. Due to the flexibility of Stripe’s core Subscription API, Atlassian can now instantly schedule subscriptions, quickly customize their pricing models and fully automate B2B payment support.

We’ve reported that Stripe announced a partnership with Afterpay to offer Afterpay’s payment service to Stripe merchants.
