Karakuri has unveiled DK-One, the world’s first robotic solution to make personalized and portion-controlled meals.

According to the report, DK-One’s user-selectable portion control allows customers to adjust their meals to fit their dietary requirements to every order. Multiple ingredients can be dispensed per installation, with each ingredient temperature controlled.

Moreover, each ingredient is dispatched with measured mass, providing 100% control of all nutritional content. Robotic Food Preparation System can dispense any ingredient type including wet, dry, soft, or hard into variable plates or meal containers.

Besides, it can make several hundred meals per hour (throughput is related to the number of ingredients per order). In addition, DK-One has compact dimensions, which designed to be transported through standard doorways. Each ingredient plated to a specified location.

We’ve reported that AMP Robotics Corp has partnered with Waste Connections, Inc to deploy 24 AI- guided robotics systems.
