As the crypto industry is on the rise, numerous digital currencies have popped up on the scene. While some of them turned out to be scams like the infamous SQUID, many tokens are genuinely seeking to solve the issues of the current financial system.
SafeMoon
Debuted on March 8 with a price of $0.0000000010 and supply of 777 trillion tokens. Today, the price is $0.000001528, and the supply is limited to 585 trillion. This DeFi token had its protocol recently upgraded to V2 with SafeMoon exchange soon-to-come.
Internet Computer (ICP)
Non-profit scientific project DFINITY launched the Internet Computer into the public domain on May 10, although the first airdrop took place in 2018. Its closing price after just one day of trading surged to $428. After the initial craze, the asset has been steadily falling in value. Its current price is $23. The scientific breakthrough behind the ICP is the Chain Key Technology, with a single public key allowing any device to verify the authenticity of artefacts.
Baby Doge
BabyDoge was launched in June 2021 and has an ambitious roadmap that includes further efforts for pet charity, NFT creation, GameFi and more. The token is deflationary i.e. designed to become more scarce over time. Its price today is $0.000000001467 with a 24-hour trading volume of $2 065 403. The launch price was $0.000000000175. Baby Doge hit an all-time high of $0.000000007695 on July 4, 2021
Floki Inu
The coin is named after Elon Musk’s Shiba Inu dog and created by fans and members of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community. Its main flagship product is the NFT play-to-earn gaming metaverse called Valhalla. Floki Inu has a total supply of 10 trillion FLOKI. It started trading at $0.00000354 in July and grew to $0.0001225 today. The registered all-time high price for FLOKI was $0.0003437.
Arcade Network (ARC)
ArcadeNetwork is a decentralised platform providing cross-metaverse asset interoperability. Its native token is now trading at its lowest price – $0.086, while the maximum value ARC reached was $0.7587. The token debuted just 2 weeks ago.
PAPA DAO
PAPA DAO is a decentralised reserve currency protocol on the Avalanche Network based on the PAPA token that launched on December 8. Its starting price was $21.60 but at present the token is losing value. Its live price is $3.28, down 40,93% in the last 24 hours. Each PAPA token is backed by a basket of assets related to metaverse and gaming.
CryptEx (CRX)
Launched in March, CRX has had its ups and downs throughout the year. Its price ranged from $8.73 to $46.62. The token debuted with an opening value of $29.28 and is now trading at $10.32. Cryptex project is focusing on new security solutions for the Binance Smart Chain. CTX also powers and secures the TCAP protocol (smart contract that tokenises real-time Total Crypto Market Capitalisation) developed by Cryptex.
MetaPets
MetaPets is a metaverse where users design their own pets and make them into NFTs. The network is supported by the Binance Smart Chain. Little is known about the project’s tech details at the moment, making it a very risky investment. Nevertheless, the token’s value has shown robust growth. It started trading in late November at $0.00000000005 and managed to reach $0.0000000002752 in a week. The current price is $0.0000000001252.
King Shiba
The live King Shiba price today is $0,037389, whereas it debuted in late October at $0.007014. King Shiba’s all-time high was $0.04534. The project functions on Binance Smart Chain. It’s a hyper deflationary cryptocurrency platform offering staking, dApp, and the ETH bridge.
GoldMiner (GM)
GoldMiner is a free-to-play third-person shooter NFT game that also employs the play-to-earn model to reward players with tokens. The token is at its lowest now, trading at $0.00007055. GM’s all-time high for a month of trading is $0.0011.
Lucid Lands
Started in late November, the Lucid Lands token has been pretty stable on the volatile crypto market, with a daily closing price range of $0.06 – $0.16. Flow is a blockchain network created by famous Dapper Labs and focused on non-fungible tokens (NFT).
