Alipay+ D-storeTM solution has been adopted by fast food chain Burger King, Koufu, and more than 2,000 local restaurants, cafes, food courts and coffee shops
Angel Zhao, president of international business, Ant Group, revealed the launch of Alipay+ D-storeTM at the Singapore Fintech Festival. This digitalisation solution caters for brick-and-mortar businesses in the service industry.
The set of toolkits offered by Alipay+ D-storeTM unlocks new revenue opportunities by delivering a better streamlined digital payment experience.
Thanks to the new service, businesses can launch digital stores on multiple digital platforms in the form of mini programmes or H5 pages that could be easily embedded in social media.
Digital platforms currently partnering with Alipay+ D-storeTM include Chope, Alipay, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, AlipayHK, and more. The participating brands include Burger King, Koufu, and over 2,000 restaurants and eating places across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and other markets. The newest customer is Huggs Coffee, one of Singapore’s largest homegrown cafe chain brands.
In addition, Alipay+, a provider of global cross-border digital payment and marketing solutions, announced its merchant coverage has grown to 2.5 million since its official debut last year. The payment methods merchants can adopt through one-time integration have reached 15, meaning easy payment solutions for over 1 billion e-wallet users.
