Alchemy Pay Partners With Worldpay to Enhance On & Off-Ramp Payments

Alchemy Pay, a fiat-crypto payment gateway, has partnered with global acquirer Worldpay to elevate the payment capabilities of its On & Off-Ramp with access to Worldpay’s Visa and Mastercard payment rails.

The new partnership will enable Alchemy Pay’s customers to buy and sell crypto with increased convenience, using their credit and debit cards. The firm’s On & Off-Ramp solution enables clients to buy and sell crypto and fiat, being easily integrated by platforms and dApps. In the near future, Worldpay’s payment channels will also support Alchemy Pay’s NFT Checkout.

In addition, through the partnership with Worldpay, which has a vast network of over 1 million merchants globally, Alchemy Pay aims to expand its global presence, reducing the payment barriers related to cryptocurrency and NFT markets.

Worldpay has long embraced innovative trends in crypto and blockchain technology, partnering with Fireblocks, Circle, and crypto.com, as well as other crypto companies. In 2022, Worldpay provided its first direct settlement in USDC.

“As a global leader in providing payment solutions to the digital assets space, Worldpay is delighted to have been selected by Alchemy Pay as their payment processing partner. Alchemy Pay’s mission to promote global adoption of digital assets by connecting fiat to the Web3 economy is aligned with Worldpay’s role in bridging the gap between traditional and digital finance. We are proud to be a part of Alchemy Pay’s growth story and look forward to a successful partnership.”

Nabil Manji, the Head of Crypto and Web3.0 at Worldpay

Alchemy Pay currently supports transactions in over 50 fiat currencies through payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Diners Club across 173 nations. It also accepts payments through mobile wallets like Google Pay or Apple Pay, various domestic transfer options, and local mobile wallets popular in emerging markets.

However, the crypto payment gateway firm continues to pursue and secure additional licenses to operate payment services in diverse countries and regions.
