Anthropic Raises Another $30B as Claude Adoption Surges, Doubling Its Valuation in AI Boom

AI research and safety company Anthropic has closed a landmark $30 billion Series G funding round, according to the latest Anthropic news, more than doubling its post‑money valuation to around $380 billion. The raise comes as Claude Anthropic models see surging adoption across enterprise and developer markets, highlighting the growing influence of Anthropic AI in business workflows.

The round was led by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment management firm Coatue, with participation from prominent investors including D. E. Shaw Ventures, Founders Fund, and MGX. This latest injection of capital reflects investor confidence in Claude Anthropic as enterprise adoption accelerates.

Anthropic executives report an annualized revenue run rate of around $14 billion, supported by enterprise services powered by Claude Anthropic, such as coding assistance tools and access through the Anthropic AI API. This reflects an impressive growth of more than 10× annually over the past three years. The AI coding product Claude Code alone has reached a $2.5 billion annual run‑rate and has doubled in revenue since the start of 2026, showing strong uptick in developer usage. Analysts highlight this growth as a major development in AI news, showing how AI platforms are transforming business operations.

Industry observers note that this surge is a significant story in technology news today, not just for an individual enterprise, but for wider business segment, since Claude Anthropic tools help other companies integrate AI into analytics, software development, and automated workflows. The company plans to use the funding to expand its model suite, scale infrastructure, and increase the global availability of Anthropic AI products, further solidifying its position in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Earlier this month, the company presented its latest and most powerful AI model for coding, agents, and professional work – Claude Opus 4.6 able to “handle complex, multi-step problems with more rigor and attention to detail”.
