Foxconn, a giant in the global electronics manufacturing sector, is partnering with Zettabyte, a company specializing in artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The mentioned collaboration is being implemented as part of Foxconn’s plan to strategically invest in expanding energy-efficient AI computing solutions worldwide.
Zettabyte is a provider of artificial intelligence data center software and infrastructure solutions. The collaboration between this company and the world’s largest electronics manufacturer centers on the Zware software platform, which optimizes performance graphics processing units while reducing energy consumption in AI data centers. This platform belongs to Zettabyte.
Kenneth Tai, chairman of Zettabyte, stated that the partnership with Foxconn will accelerate the deployment of his company’s technology, meeting the growing demand for high-performance, energy-efficient AI computing globally.
Representatives of Foxconn stated that the mentioned firm’s ability to enhance artificial intelligence data center operations while significantly reducing energy consumption generates opportunities to set new benchmarks for future similar functional facilities.
The financial terms of the investment are still unknown.
In the framework of collaboration, companies aim to expand the adoption of energy-efficient AI solutions worldwide.
Foxconn is a supplier of Apple devices. Last year, the company’s revenue was recorded at around $188 billion. The firm ranks 32nd among Fortune Global 500 companies. Foxconn, based in Taiwan, turned 50 this year.
Zettabyte also announced additional partnerships with Pegatron and Chief Telecom. The company is focused on providing solutions that redefine efficiency and sustainability in artificial intelligence data centers.
