Orbital data center pioneer Starcloud is preparing a groundbreaking Bitcoin mining initiative in orbit, aiming to become the first company to operate cryptocurrency mining off Earth. Starcloud, an orbital data center startup backed by Nvidia, confirmed plans to launch its second spacecraft equipped with Bitcoin mining ASIC hardware later this year, positioning itself to mine Bitcoin directly from low Earth orbit.
