Fintech unicorn is getting ready to launch abroad
As Revolut’s VP of Operations Alan Chang said in a blog post, the most successful challenger bank is currently working on launching abroad. However, the expansion process appeared to be really complicated. There are several serious obstacles for the expansion, such as the complexity of foreign regulation, a huge volume of work and lots of time to strike partnerships required.
That said, after overcoming many barriers on things like licensing and creating bespoke operating models that have never been done before, weu2019re excited to share with you that weu2019re about to launch in US, Canada, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and gearing up to launch in Hong Kong, Brazil and Russia
As Alan Chang noted, the expansion team has already made good progress tackling these markets.
