Samsung Electronics Indonesia has officially introduced Samsung Wallet in the Indonesian market — the country’s first fully-integrated digital wallet solution built directly into users’ smartphones.

With the new Samsung Wallet app, users in Indonesia can store and manage membership cards, boarding passes, digital car keys, and other essential credentials conveniently in one place. Instead of juggling multiple apps or physical cards, everything is available in a single user-friendly interface.
At launch, Samsung Wallet is available on the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy S25 Series devices via a free app update through Google Play Store or Galaxy Store. The company says it will gradually extend support to more devices.

Integrated lifestyle convenience: By working with brands such as BMW, MINI and BYD, the wallet allows digital car-key functionality, boarding pass access, and simplified membership card management, making everyday digital life smoother.

Optimised for premium hardware: On foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold7, users benefit from a larger screen to view details like boarding passes more easily; the ultra-compact cover screen of the Galaxy Z Flip7 allows quick access to stored items without even opening the phone.

Strong security under the hood: Built on Samsung’s enterprise-grade security platform Samsung Knox, the wallet protects sensitive user information with layered encryption, biometric authentication and a dedicated Secure Element, ensuring data stays safe while on the device.

Samsung says this launch reflects its commitment to seamless digital living, where “software intelligence meets premium hardware” enabling users to ditch multiple cards and apps for one smart, secure solution.
To get started, eligible users should update their apps via the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store and then simply add their membership cards, boarding passes or supported digital keys into Samsung Wallet.
