SAP promises that Joule, a natural-language, generative AI copilot, will transform the way business runs.
SAP Software Solutions has introduced a new Joule, AI-powered business assistant, to enhance its cloud enterprise portfolio with proactive and contextualized insights.
The copilot is able to sort through and contextualize data from multiple systems across the SAP portfolio and third-party sources to produce “smarter” insights. Joule will be embedded into SAP applications vor all types of businesses, from HR to finance, supply chain, procurement and customer experience, also incorporated into SAP Business Technology Platform.
The tool will be rolled out gradually. Initially, Joule will be available with SAP SuccessFactors solutions and the SAP Start site. SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, support will be added early next year. Next, SAP Customer Experience and SAP Ariba solutions along with SAP Business Technology Platform will follow.
According to the company’s website, more than 26,000 SAP cloud customers have access to SAP Business AI tools across multiple scenarios and partner solutions.
