Popular e-commerce platform Shopify has launched the Shopify Finance hub that hosts all the Shopify’s financial solutions built straight into the admin tool.
In particular, the unified portal is home to:
- Shopify Balance – an all-in-one financial account built to support e-commerce businesses,
- Shopify Credit – a pay-in-full business card with cashback on eligible purchases,
- Shopify Capital – a financing program that offers merchant cash advances and loans,
- Shopify Bill Pay – a business payments app that lets one schedule, pay, and manage business invoices,
- and Shopify Tax – a solution offering sales tax liability insights, sales tax calculations, collection, and reporting.
The new hub offers consolidated access to the main financial tools on the platform, faster access to funding, automatic rewards on money held in Balance accounts as well as cashback on eligible transactions, flexible repayment options, and streamlined tax compliance.
Shopify Finance is the company’s newest tool for simplifying finance management and easing the financial burdens of running a business. It empowers merchants to start their businesses and scale confidently while aligning with their current needs. At present, 40% of potential entrepreneurs surveyed by Shopify cite financial risk as a significant barrier to starting a business.
The e-commerce platform constantly improves its merchant offerings with AI capabilities, partnerships with leading payment providers and e-commerce services, and additional features to its existing services.
