In partnership with the global wealth management platform FNZ and a global investment company and asset manager abrdn, digital bank Virgin Money has launched a new digital investment solution for UK retail investors.

The new service gives customers the ability to manage their wealth through both ISA and non-ISA investment accounts. The minimum investment is £25. Clients can access their money anytime and withdraw it free of charge.

The platform offers three separate and straightforward investment approaches, based on customers’ approaches to risk:

  • ‘Cautious Growth approach’ presents lower risk scenarios, with slower but steadier growth potential.
  • ‘Balanced Growth approach’ has a healthy balance between risk and reward.
  • ‘Adventurous Growth approach’ offers higher potential, while being associated with higher risks.

To discover which approach suits them best, customers can use helpful website guides.

Using technology from FNZ and abrdn’s expertise in investments, this direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform enables investments in different asset types. However, the focus of Virgin Money investment solution is on companies with good ESG standing and perspectives. That includes those businesses which adopt sustainable investment policies and objectives, have positive shareholder engagement policies, or provide products and services that support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

For those new to investments, the bank introduces a new online investment coach solution. It gives customers the tools and information they need to discover their ‘inner investor’. Besides, the guided investment process gives amateurs the confidence to make smart money management decisions.

Customers who open a new Virgin Money stocks and shares ISA or an investment account by 30 June 2023 will also receive 8,000 Virgin Points to spend with the Virgin Red rewards club.
