European cybersecurity firm WALLIX has announced plans to reinforce its operations in the Middle East, responding to growing demand for digital sovereignty and robust data protection across the region.
WALLIX, known for its Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, has been active in the Middle East for over a decade. The company maintains a regional team and a network of more than 40 certified partners across Gulf countries, offering solutions that allow organizations to keep sensitive data and systems under local control.
The move comes as organizations in the Middle East face increasing cyber threats and stricter regulatory requirements, particularly in countries like the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The company’s platform, WALLIX One, supports both IT and operational technology (OT) environments, with flexible deployment options including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid setups.
According to WALLIX, the Middle East-Africa region has become one of its fastest-growing markets, with recurring revenues in the area increasing by approximately 40% in 2025, making it the company’s second-largest market after France. Governments, financial institutions, oil and gas companies, and critical infrastructure in the Gulf and broader Middle East are frequent targets for cyberattacks because of their strategic and economic importance. Hackers often aim for data theft, ransomware attacks, or system disruptions, requiring robust security measures from local entities.
