The initiative has been launched due to numerous offerings and requests for help
Facebook announced the rollout of its new service called “Community Help”. This way, the users get an opportunity to offer or request help from their neighbors during the quarantine caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
The social network revealed that people can volunteer to become a part of the team, picking up shopping products. What is more, they can ask others to do some errands or donate to fundraisers.
This way, Facebook will display to its users the posts within a 50-mile radius or closer, according to their location.
The “Community Help” feature will be available in the US, France, UK, Australia, and Canada in the nearest future, with further expansion to the other countries.
