The users can control the digital card through the Grab app
Grab has launched its GrabPay Card in the Philippines as a result of collaboration with Mastercard.
According to a survey, 40% of Filipinos are currently using online payments more frequently due to the pandemic. This way, the introduction of the GrabPay Card confirms the company’s intentions to provide risk-free payments across the country.
The GrabPay Card details are securely stored within the GrabPay app. It has a built-in card lock feature powered by Face ID and fingerprint biometric system. Besides, PIN protection provides users with the ability to instantly suspend transactions in case they lost their card or suspicious payments.
What is more, GrabPay Card users get Mobile protection insurance allowing them to pay for mobile postpaid phone bills using the GrabPay Card and receive protection against accidental damage or theft.
