The ability to accept contactless payments on smartphones provides more opportunities for merchants
Axis has become the first Indian bank that offers merchants the ability to accept NFC, QR, and remote payments on smartphones.
In fact, this solution allows merchants to carry out face-to-face Bharat QR, NFC, and remote transactions for home deliveries.
Besides, banks will have total visibility of a merchant’s payments, simplifying for small merchants the process of getting business loans.
According to information, the app is currently available for Android phones, but will soon be launched for iPhone users.
We’ve reported that Switzerland is ready to start sending the QR-bills from 30 June 2020.
