Picksell app has begun its operations in Germany, according to the report. It provides subsidized commissions for processing and payment and advanced logistics as well as marketing tools.

Besides, the app also has a contactless payment solution through the QR Scan and Go strategy, available to offline and online merchants.

The use of QR-powered price displays allows retailers to use the app to turn their shops into COVID-ready stores. With this, customers simply check the QR code with their phone and proceed to checkout.

Retail tools available at Picksell can be used by established retailers, those looking to operate an online shop, or persons looking to save on processing as well as those looking to deliver globally.

Picksell also provides merchants with direct payment methods. However, merchants are charged below 1%. This helps stores save on processing fees, avoid costly chargebacks, and get paid right to their bank accounts.

We’ve reported that Shopify partnered with Alipay to develop a new payment gateway. This will allow seamless payments among Shopify merchants while accepting payments via Alipay.
