According to Ecommerce News, 1 in 3 online shoppers across France expect free shipping for all orders, regardless of the order value.

The data reveals that 29% expect this for orders of €20 and more. And for 26, the limit is a value of €50. Only 5% of people surveyed do not expect free delivery at all.

The report highlights that one of the key factors is the cost of shipping. For years, retailers have attracted consumers into their shops by offering them free delivery. But most e-commerce companies can’t provide this forever since it’s too expensive.

We’ve reported that JD.com starts collaborating with its on-demand delivery platform Dada Group to provide JD’s customers with a one-hour delivery service. Their cooperation is the expansion of JD’s Omnichannel Fulfillment program, launched in 2019.
