KIR, Polish national payment processor, teamed up with PKO Bank Polski to implement the mSzafir digital signature.
According to the statement, mSzafir is a qualified electronic signature using cloud technology. It allows signing all contracts and letters in PDF format, completely remotely, without leaving home.
Besides, KIR will issue a qualified e-signature certificate, available for 15 minutes, which the client will be able to use to sign the document, based on the identity confirmed by the bank.
In addition to that, the mSzafir signature complies with the requirements of eIDAS and has legal force equivalent to a handwritten signature. The digital signature will support remote work, expanding the spectrum of matters that can be dealt with from home as well.
