Starbucks and Paytm have entered into a partnership to implement contactless dining solutions across 180 stores in India.

This collaboration allows customers to scan the QR code which is placed on every table in a Starbucks shop and access menu in the Paytm app.

After they place the order, they can pay for it through Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, net-banking, or banking cards.

What is more, Paytm allows clients to leverage Starbucks’ ‘Order Ahead’ option. In fact, customers can place an order in advance through the app and then pick it up from the barista at the store.

We’ve reported that Switzerland is ready to start sending the QR-bills from 30 June 2020. In fact, 15% out of 1,700 companies or organizations had planned to start issuing QR-bills instead of payment slips as soon as possible.
