Stripe, a payment processing company, is moving its services to Ireland, ensuring that European users will not be affected by Brexit.

Now their users will be able to process their payment from Dublin in the upcoming days. Stripe customers outside the United Kingdom and Switzerland will get payment services by Irish entity, rather than the UK. However, the UK and Swiss nationals will receive the same payment services as they were using before, UK entities.

The giant financial payment company authorities claimed they will not make any changes in their services. Their customers will see the only difference as their account statement from the company will refer to “Stripe Technology Europe Limited” (STEL).

Recently the company announced creating more jobs for the Irish citizens to secure an e-money license from the Central Bank. After getting a license, Stripe will be able to process payments for users in different countries of Europe.

Recently a Digital Bank Revolut temporarily moved one million customers from Ireland to Lithuania.  Stripe is currently operating in Ireland under a UK e-money license, which allows all the countries other than the European Union.

We’ve reported that Stripe has entered into an agreement to acquire a Lagos-based Paystack. The company makes it easy for organizations of all sizes to collect payments from around the world.
