Any financial institution in Portugal can integrate TransferWise’s API directly into their own infrastructure

TransferWise announced the collaboration with Portuguese-based digital bank ActivoBank offering a simple, fast and low-cost service. Launched in 1994, ActivoBank aims to simplify financial management for its users, launching a new concept of complete products and services.
With the integration of TransferWise in the ActivoBank app, the bank’s customers will have direct access to faster international money transfers in 18 currencies. In addition to that, they will pay low fees using the real exchange rate.
TransferWise for Banks lets banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions offer their customers international transfers experience, eliminating the need to leave their banking app. The fact TransferWise bringing its service to Portugal marks another positive step towards fast, cheap, transparent international payments wherever they are.
