Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has revealed it was able to lift the restrictions on Wirecard thus allowing it to resume operational activities.

As a result, customers will now, or very shortly, be able to use their cards as usual.

The FCA has previously imposed restrictions on Wirecard’s UK branch after its collapse. Consequently, thousands of customers couldn’t access their money or carry out transactions.

And due to the fact that some of the British tech firms had to suspend their services because of the restrictions, leaving numerous users’ accounts blocked.

We’ve reported that Wirecard filed for insolvency on June 25, following revelations of $2 million fraud.
