The partnership between Warner Music and OpenSea offers more Web3 opportunities to artists
On Sept. 29, global entertainment company Warner Music Group (WMG) announced a partnership with popular NFT marketplace OpenSea. It will provide a platform for musical artists to build and extend their fanbase within the Web3 community.
Due to the collaboration, selected WMG artists will get early access to OpenSea’s new feature, which enables artists to launch their NFT collections and limited-edition projects on customizable and dedicated drop pages. Besides, these WMG artists will have access to OpenSea’s industry-leading safety and security features.
Not only does the partnership help WMG artists build new Web3 communities, but also they can introduce existing fan communities on OpenSea to new forms of connection and creativity. NFTs will give fans exclusive opportunities to engage with music artists within the Web3 community.
Warner Records UK is already working on the first collection of music NFTs with Web3 company Probably Nothing. This collaboration marks the latest in a series of efforts to build out the music company’s expertise in the Web3 space.
