Through the partnership with Bitcoin payments company Bitpay, Xeni enables its customers to accept crypto payments for commercial flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel activities
Blockchain-based B2B travel provider Xeni has partnered with BitPay to enable the end customers to choose between traditional payment methods and crypto while purchasing flight tickets, renting cars or paying for hotel services.
Customers of Xeni-powered travel sites will be able to pay for products and services using 15 different tokens, including APE, BTC, BCH, DOGE, ETH, LTC, SHIB, WBTC, and XRP. In addition to altcoins, BitPay supports stablecoins, such as BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP, USDC, and EUROC. Supported crypto wallets include Coinbase, Blockchain, Kraken, BRD, and Metamask.
Xeni provides an all-inclusive white-label software platform for travellers, suppliers, and travel professionals, featuring a web-based storefront, booking engine, CRM, and payment settlement engine. Besides, the company offers bookable travel inventory, including flights, hotels, car transfers, car rentals, and activities.
The unique feature of Xeni’s platform is that each booking made across the Xeni platform is tracked, stored, and settled on the decentralised ledger of the Hedera network. Being blockchain-based, the company offers encrypted record-keeping for its business clients.
With the new integration, Xeni’s no-code subscription service users such as travel discount membership clubs, social media influencers, and travel agents can now accept crypto payments for travel without price volatility risks. In addition, they won’t have to worry about chargebacks, fraud, and high credit card transaction fees.
BitPay offers a digital asset management solution that comprises the BitPay Wallet and BitPay Prepaid Card. Besides enabling payments, the company has recently enhanced its offering with a simple crypto tax filing feature in partnership with ZenLedger.
