Cattolica University announced a blockchain-related collaboration with e-payments provider SIA and Reply, a digital design company. The pilot experiment will run in January 2020, aiming to decrease fraud and simplify the process of data sharing among the agents.

Besides the above-mentioned companies, the Bank of Italy and the Institute for the Supervision of Insurance (IVASS) will also participate in the project’s launch.

The launch of blockchain technology will make data sharing between the parties more safe and secure, eliminating the fraud possibility. Along with that, it will make the manual notary process easier

Blockchain is widely considered to be a good solution to simplifying the manual notary process, guaranteeing the user’s data integrity.
