55places.com, a real estate platform for home buyers 55+, has released a list of the 20 most affordable places to retire in 2021.

The company examined US cities with a population of at least 50,000 and fixed an estimate based on a variety of data points, including cost of living, average home value, taxes, health care accessibility, public transportation, and walking distance estimates, over 55 communities. The result was a list of metropolitan areas that offer a combination of quality living opportunities at an affordable price.
