3S Money Expands European Footprint with French IBANs and New Paris Office

London-based fintech 3S Money has expanded its European presence with the launch of French IBANs, enabling seamless processing of SEPA Direct Debits, Instant payments, and SWIFT transfers for local customers, and the opening of a new office in Paris to better serve the region’s clientele.

The company said the move is aimed at strengthening its services for international businesses operating across the European Union. Local IBANs are often required by businesses to facilitate domestic payments, payroll, and supplier transactions. Thus, French IBANs will allow cross-border-oriented clients to hold and transact in euros using locally issued accounts. France is seen as a core market for continued growth by many of 3S clients with complex international structures and high-value payments, due to its significance as the EU’s second-largest economy.

The new Paris office will serve as a regional hub for operations, client support, and partnerships not only in France but also in neighbouring markets. Its local team will support customer onboarding, compliance operations, and relationship management in the region, as demand for cross-border financial services continues to grow among international companies operating in Europe.

3S Money was founded in 2018 to address banking challenges faced by internationally operating companies, including limited access to traditional banking services and difficulties managing cross-border transactions. The firm focuses primarily on serving small and medium-sized enterprises and globally active businesses that require multi-currency banking infrastructure.

3S Money platform, offering multi-currency accounts and local payment infrastructure through the partnership with ClearBank, enables businesses to send, receive, and manage payments in different currencies while maintaining local accounts in various jurisdictions. The introduction of French IBANs adds to the company’s existing network of European banking capabilities.

Besides the UK home market and France, the fintech startup is present in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Latvia, and Germany. Its ambitions are not limited to the EU. 3S Money also has offices in Dubai and Hong Kong and serves clients from 190 countries.
