As digital assets become increasingly part of mainstream finance, Binance introduces a family-focused platform to help young users learn financial literacy and build crypto savings under parental supervision.

Binance announced the launch of Binance Junior, a new parent-controlled app and sub-account designed for kids and teens aged 6–17. The pioneering platform allows parents to open and manage crypto savings accounts for their children, offering controlled exposure to digital assets while helping foster positive saving habits and financial literacy.
Binance Junior accounts can be funded via the parent’s master account or through on-chain transfers. Funds deposited into the Junior account can earn crypto through Binance Flexible Simple Earn, while trading activities are restricted to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations. Users aged 13 and above can initiate transfers within the app, subject to daily limits and parental monitoring. Transfers to non-parental adult users are disabled, and parents receive notifications for every transaction and can disable the account at any time.
The product is part of Binance’s broader family finance initiative, aimed at helping parents prepare the next generation for the evolving financial landscape. To support this mission, Binance also released “ABC’s of Crypto”, an educational children’s book that explains cryptocurrency fundamentals in an easy-to-understand way, from blockchain and security to types of coins, encouraging families to learn together.
Binance co-CEO Yi He emphasized that the platform enables parents to support their children’s long-term financial growth responsibly, combining practical savings tools with education about digital assets. Binance Junior is designed for both crypto-native families and those new to digital finance, providing a secure environment with simplified parental controls.
Binance Junior will be available in select countries via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
