The practical result of the implementation of the cooperation program between the two companies will be that retailers will be able to add the Sezzle Pay BNPL consumer finance solution to the Celerant e-commerce website. The relevant information is contained in the press release of the firms published on the occasion of the beginning of their partnership.

As part of the next stage of cooperation, another integration with Sezzle will be added, through which retailers will be able to offer the BNPL option also through the Celerant solution for points of sale in stores (POS).

Celerant President and CEO Ian Goldman said that in the current economic realities, it was important to expand the company’s technology through additional consumer financing options, as the number of clients showing interest in instant lending applications in an attempt to improve their financial situation is growing.

He also noted that the partnership with Sezzle, a popular BNPL solution in the industry, provides retailers with more opportunities in terms of payment flexibility and financial assistance when making large purchases. According to him, these opportunities increase the volume of online sales.

Special studies confirm the validity of the statement that sellers, offering BNPL in traditional stores and virtual retail space, have a highly probable prospect of generating a huge income. For example, in the United States, 45% of customers who regularly visit department stores positively assess the availability of appropriate financial services. Also, 66% of millennial consumers are more interested in commercial interaction with those merchants of luxury goods and specialized goods that offer BNPL.

The BNPL option, existing as part of the Celerant and Sezzle partnership, offers payment flexibility in the form of four payments over six weeks without any interest or fees. This can help retailers attract new customers by connecting to existing Sezzle users.

Sezzle co-founder and revenue director Paul Paradis says that the company’s experience in payments is a real hit among millennials and partly Generation Z, for whom the absence of interest and commission, as well as the opportunity to get a loan, is of particular value.

As we have reported earlier, BNP Paribas Moves Into B2B BNPL.
