Chargebacks911, dispute resolution and chargeback prevention services provider, is boosting the intelligent data infrastructure within its Unified Dispute Management System (UDMS) with sharper AI detection skills.
Today, merchants and payment issuers contend with increasing dispute volumes and more complex fraud patterns. Mastercard 2025 data shows that almost 60% of both FIs and merchants recorded chargeback volumes growth of more than 10% year-on-year. Global chargeback volume is projected to reach 324 million transactions by 2028. This scope needs automation at scale to handle it properly.
Fresh UDMS development reflects broader pressure across the payments industry, where fragmented data environments, growing manual review workloads, and slower dispute response times have become common operational challenges. The platform was built to consolidate dispute signals into a single, structured view, giving organizations the ability to identify risk earlier in the transaction lifecycle before disputes escalate into chargebacks or revenue loss.
How UDMS Works
The platform integrates proprietary AI models, machine learning, and automated data orchestration to surface dispute risk patterns that typically remain hidden across disconnected systems. A single integration framework connects merchants and issuers to network inquiry tools including Order Insight and Consumer Clarity, enabling earlier visibility into cardholder inquiries and potential dispute triggers.
By aligning transaction-level data across the dispute lifecycle, from early inquiry through representment and recovery, UDMS is designed to reduce manual case handling, improve match rates, and support faster, more accurate responses to cardholder issues.
“Our clients are not asking for more tools. They want clearer signals and faster answers,” said Monica Eaton, Founder and CEO of Chargebacks911. “UDMS connects the data points that matter, applies machine learning in real time, and helps payments teams make confident decisions before a dispute turns into lost revenue.”
ResolveLab Expands Dispute Management to FIs and Payfacs
Chargebacks911 is also rolling out ResolveLab to a wider group of partners, including financial institutions, acquirers, and payment facilitators. The white-label, disputes-as-a-service platform is built on the same AI and machine learning foundation as UDMS, giving organizations a way to upgrade their dispute operations without having to build new systems from scratch.
In practice, ResolveLab helps speed up resolution times, automate routine case handling, and improve response times for cardholders. Together with UDMS, it creates a more connected approach to dispute management, covering both prevention and what happens after a dispute is filed.
“Dispute management has become a data timing challenge,” Eaton added. “The organizations that perform best are the ones that can see risk forming early and respond with confidence. That is exactly where we have focused our investment.”
Scale and Reach
Chargebacks911 currently operates across 87 countries and processes billions of transactions annually through its UDMS and ResolveLab platforms. The company continues to develop its machine learning models, automation capabilities, and network data connectivity to keep pace with evolving dispute behavior and chargeback fraud trends.
