2 in 5 (40%) of Americans currently have two or more unused smartphones in their home, and a majority of Americans (61%) have never sold or traded in one they no longer had a use for, according to a survey conducted by eBay. The e-commerce giant is ready to change this trend with its new customized Selling Kit.

The company claims that the tool will offer the most competitive pricing, helping consumers earn 50% more money for their device. Here’s the guide:

  1. List your phone using eBay app by providing the make, model and condition.
  2. Use eBay’s tips to remove your personal data.
  3. Ship it with a dedicated eBay shipping box.

eBay also make a list of devices whose owners can make the most money:

  • iPhone 6s – up to $199;
  • Google Pixel – up to $306;
  • iPhone 7 – up to $323;
  • Samsung s9 – up to $544;
  • iPhone X – up to $794.
