Google has presented upgraded smartphones, watches, and earbuds.
Currently, the mentioned company, which is an Internet search giant, demonstrates its desire to surpass competitors such as Apple and Samsung using the example of specific products. Google also offers consumers more ways to use artificial intelligence.
It is noteworthy that the company presented its products a few weeks before the debut of the latest Apple gadgets. Google has a recognized status as a giant in the Internet search area, but at the same time lags in the sector of technical devices. The company is currently striving for closer integration of its hardware and software.
Among the new devices that Google has presented are the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL smartphones, and the upscale folding model 9 Pro Fold. There was also the debut of the Pixel Watch 3 in two sizes and the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
The smartphones were equipped with an upgraded Google Assistant with generative artificial intelligence Gemini. As a result of using AI, this digital assistant has improved its ability to provide more sophisticated responses to user queries. For example, one of these tasks may be to provide the consumer with a recipe for cooking a certain dish after viewing a photo of the ingredients.
Google offers several size options for the high-end Pro model, including a 6.3-inch version, a 6.8-inch edition version, and a folding version with an 8-inch inner display.
The cost of a standard Pixel 9 starts at $799. Sales of this version of the device will be launched on August 22. Modifications Pro users will be able to buy for $999 and $1,099. These versions of the smartphone are equipped with improved cameras and are made of a higher-end material. The folding modification is characterized by a new design, having a more square shape when opened. The cost of this version of the smartphone starts from $1,799.
The new Pixel Watch line includes an XL model with a diameter of 45 millimeters and improved displays. Google promises 24 hours of battery life for this device with the always-on display. The cost of the upgraded watches ranges from $349 to $499. Sales of these devices will be launched on September 10.
Pixel Buds are 27% smaller and 24% lighter. The $299 earbuds are equipped with a new artificial intelligence chip A1 for audio processing and provide up to eight hours of battery life in noise-canceling mode.
It is worth noting that Google traditionally updates its flagship Pixel devices in October. This year, most likely, the company decided to demonstrate the latest developments before the September debut of Apple’s iPhone 16.
