Carrefour introduces online grocery marketplace in France

The company wants to fulfill customers’ preferences for organic, natural, and healthy products

According to Ecommerce News, Carrefour has launched an online grocery marketplace in France. The platform will provide up to 100,000 products from more than a hundred different retailers by the end of 2020.

The report states that the company created the marketplace on its French e-commerce website, Carrefour.fr. This way, Carrefour wanted to enlarge its product range by selling complementary products.

We’ve reported that Berlin-based retailer KaDeWe has announced the rollout of its online webstore that includes at least 3,000 articles from 100 different suppliers.
