Merchants can now trade competitively in the EU
Dutch payment fintech unicorn Mollie has entered the United Kingdom, according to Ecommerce News.
This way, it will support British merchants who are looking to grow into Europe. The payment service provider has enhanced its services available to UK companies who can incorporate several EU payment methods into their online stores.
The launch of Mollie in the United Kingdom should better help merchants who want to enter new markets in Europe, while customers in the European Union get the choice to use their preferred payment methods when they shop with a UK retailer.
Mollie has partnerships with Klarna, Magento, and European payment gateways, which enables merchants from the UK to trade competitively in the Eurozone, the payment service provider says.
At the same time, the report states the Brexit deal has made doing business with the European Union difficult for companies in the United Kingdom.
