Facebook introduced Novi — the new name and brand for its digital wallet Calibra. The company believes it will help people send and hold Libra digital currencies.
The report unveiled that the customers can use Novi as a stand-alone app, as well as in Messenger and WhatsApp.
Besides, Facebook reveals that users can add, send, receive, or withdraw money without any hidden charges.
According to information, all Novi customers will be verified via government-issued ID, and fraud protections will be built in the app. What is more, they will have 24/7 access to chat-based support and customer care team.
We’ve reported that Facebook announced the rollout of Shops, a new platform allowing businesses to launch free stores on Facebook and Instagram. A new solution will be backed by Facebook’s partners including Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
