Barclays has launched a new digital advice service called Plan & Invest to tackle the UK’s advice gap and give customers the confidence to invest their savings.

The bank will adapt the investment plan to any changes in the market or the customer’s circumstances, according to the report. Barclays will check it in at least once a year, to make sure that the investments are still right for the customer.

Plan & Invest will initially be piloted with Barclays’ current account customers who have at least £5,000 to invest and it will be available through Online Banking.

Over the last few months, we’ve seen a rise in the number of people wanting to invest for the first time and it feels more important than ever that we give people the right tools and advice to plan for their financial future

We’ve reported that Visa has announced its collaboration with India-based Federal Bank thus presenting Visa Secure to the bank’s customers.
