For Zalando, the acquisition is part of its investment in the customer experience
Zalando has announced it acquired Fision, a Swiss company that offers a mobile body scanning solution, according to Ecommerce News.
Fision uses advanced computer vision technology offering a body scanning app and virtual dressing room. They are designed to help consumers see how a garment would fit on their bodies.
The technology of Fision will be incorporated into the Zalando platform, so the German fashion retailer can give better size advice to its customers.
We’ve reported that Adyen and Zalando expand their partnership, as the global payments provider is set to process Zalando’s credit card payments in all European markets.
