Apple Watch Series 11

The Apple Watch remains the best-selling smartwatch on the planet, and the Series 11 is the most capable Apple Pay device Apple has ever shipped. Setup is simple: pair the watch with an iPhone, add a card to the Wallet app (or let it inherit your iPhone’s existing cards), authenticate with a passcode, and you’re set to double-click the side button and tap to pay at any contactless terminal. The trade-off is that it’s iPhone-only compatible, so Android owners will need to look elsewhere on this list.
Samsung Galaxy Watch8

Huawei Watch GT
Price: Typically €200–€400 depending on model (Huawei Watch GT 5 / GT Runner 2 / Watch Ultimate)

Current Huawei watches use HarmonyOS and pay via Huawei Pay or, increasingly, Curve Pay, rather than Google Wallet. Availability and card support are more limited than Apple Pay or Google Wallet, so it’s worth checking your bank’s compatibility before buying if payments are the main draw. At the same time, Huawei watches have recently introduced additional functionality worth noting for sellers. The firm’s open banking smartwatch point-of-sale (POS) application enables merchants to accept payments directly via a smartwatch, eliminating the need for traditional POS terminals or card-based infrastructure.
Google Pixel Watch 4

Since Google acquired Fitbit, it folded Fitbit Pay into Google Wallet entirely, so the Pixel Watch, Google’s own flagship, with Fitbit’s health-tracking features built in, is the most relevant and currently-available pick for Android users who want tap-to-pay and were fans of early Fitbit wearables. It works with any NFC terminal that accepts Google Wallet.
Ticwatch Pro
Price: Around $200–$300 depending on generation

- Dual-display design for extended battery life (up to several days in power-saving mode)

Mobvoi’s current Ticwatch Pro generation keeps the brand’s signature dual-screen battery-saving trick while running modern Wear OS with Google Wallet support, making it one of the more affordable ways to get Apple Watch-style payments on Android.
Swatch Pay (Bellamy)
Price: From roughly $90–$100, depending on region and model
Payment system: UnionPay (China) and, in some markets, Visa
Swatch’s NFC-chip analog watches remain in production and the Swatch Group is still very much in business, but Swatch Pay’s footprint has stayed narrower and more China-centric than the Wear OS or Apple Pay ecosystems above. It’s worth double-checking availability and bank support in your specific market before buying one purely for payments. Unlike every other watch on this list, it’s not a smartwatch: there’s no screen, notifications, or app support, just an NFC chip built into an otherwise ordinary analog Swatch, activated through the Swatch app and a physical card reader.
