The X International Banking Forum (IBF 2026) will bring banking leaders, regulators, and financial sector professionals to Baku, Azerbaijan, on November 24–25, 2026, to discuss the future of reliable, secure, and sustainable banking.
Held in strategic partnership with Mastercard, the 10th edition of the Forum will focus on regional financial cooperation, with particular attention to strengthening integration among the Turkic states and expanding direct collaboration between banks and financial institutions.
Under the theme “Reliable, Safe, and Sustainable Banking,” IBF 2026 is supported by the Azerbaijan Banks Association, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), the Council of Banks Associations of the Turkic States (CBATS), and banking associations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye. Other supporting organizations include the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The Forum is a major fixture in Baku’s business and economic calendar and a specialized banking event that brings together bank CEOs from across Azerbaijan. Its audience also includes representatives of regulatory authorities, fintech companies, international financial institutions, diplomatic missions, academia, and other senior decision-makers from Azerbaijan and abroad. Delegations from neighboring countries and international financial centers contribute to its regional and international reach.
Beyond the main conference program, IBF 2026 will feature side events, including meetups, seminars, webinars, and competitions, providing additional opportunities for participants to exchange expertise and develop professional connections.
By bringing together stakeholders from across the financial sector, the Forum aims to advance cross-border cooperation and support closer ties between banking markets in the region.
