Binance mobile app amassed over 6.3 million downloads in the first quarter of 2024, with a 21% lead over its nearest competitor Revolut.
Binance published the rating of crypto-friendly mobile apps by digital analytics firm Sensor Tower, which shows the crypto exchange’s significant superiority over other fintech apps.
According to the given data, in Q1 2024, the Binance mobile app was downloaded more than 6,3 million times. Despite many recent legal troubles, the Binance exchange remains popular among global crypto enthusiasts, boasting over 186 million users worldwide. Moreover, the value of user funds on the platform has recently surpassed the $100B mark.
The download results go in line with positive user growth results seen last year. Thus, over 2023, the user base of the popular cryptocurrency exchange increased by 30% which equals about 40 million people. The company’s management noted a particularly strong surge in inflows from institutional investors. This fact indicates an increase in confidence not only in the particular crypto exchange but also in the larger Web3 ecosystem.
The Binance app offers users various Web3 functionalities like spot and P2P trading, payments, marketplace, Earn products, Web3 wallet, and more. It has quite a user-friendly interface which makes the app attractive for crypto traders of different experience levels.
Besides Binance, the top five crypto-supporting fintech apps include Revolut, Bybit, OKX, and Crypto.com. Coinbase landed on the sixth place.
