Getnet, Santander’s global payment solution provider for merchants, processes 171 million transactions per month for companies that are based in Latin America and operate in the e-commerce area.

Getnet global chief executive officer Kush Saxena said that the launch of Getnet SEP demonstrates the firm’s ongoing commitment to simplicity, speed, and safety.

The press release also separately noted that the mentioned launch is being carried out at a time when there is a tendency to increase the number of virtual merchant platforms operating in more than one Latin American country.

Getnet SEP is designed to reduce the complexity and technical challenges that are associated with handling multiple payment methods and providers. According to the press release, in this case, simplifying the integration of sales, refunds, tokenization, subscriptions, anti-fraud, and other payment services are provided.
