Mondu, one of Europe’s fastest-growing B2B payments innovators, has announced a significant milestone with the closing of a €100 million debt facility from J.P. Morgan Payments. Alongside the financing, the company has joined the J.P. Morgan Payments Partner Network, unlocking new opportunities to scale its solutions and bring flexible payment options to thousands of businesses across Europe.

As part of the collaboration, Mondu will be able to offer its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and broader deferred payment solutions directly to J.P. Morgan Payments’ extensive European corporate client base. Through a new referral program within the Partner Network, Mondu’s capabilities in accounts payable and receivable financing can be seamlessly introduced to businesses seeking improved cash flow, higher conversion rates, and smoother payment processes.

The timing is strategic. The B2B e-commerce market is expanding rapidly, with the European segment expected to hit $1.8 trillion in 2025. As digital trade accelerates, demand for modern and flexible financial tools is rising as well. The BNPL market in Europe is set for strong continued growth, increasing from an estimated $191.3 billion in 2025 to nearly $293.7 billion by 2030. Against this backdrop, Mondu and J.P. Morgan Payments are positioning themselves to capture a growing share of businesses looking for smarter, more adaptable payment infrastructure.

Since 2022, Mondu has emerged as a prominent force in B2B payments, serving established retailers and marketplaces such as Notebooksbilliger, WirMachenDruck, GGM Gastro, and Autodoc. The company has built momentum through regulatory milestones, including securing an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license, and strategic partnerships with Payin3 and Lemonway. Its recent launch of Pay Now further enhances its offering, allowing buyers to pay directly from their bank accounts without relying on separate account-to-account providers.

Mondu’s co-CEO Philipp Povel described the collaboration with J.P. Morgan Payments as a major validation of the company’s vision to simplify financial workflows for businesses across Europe. J.P. Morgan Payments leadership echoed this sentiment, highlighting Mondu’s ability to support clients’ working capital needs during a period of significant transformation in the B2B payments landscape.

With more than 80 member companies, the J.P. Morgan Payments Partner Network serves as a powerful ecosystem for scaling innovative payment technologies. For Mondu, the partnership and newly secured financing signal a decisive next step in its ambition to reshape B2B payments for the digital-first economy.
