OpenAI Introduces Additions to Its Artificial Intelligence Models

The mentioned developer of the world’s most popular chatbot based on machine intelligence called ChatGPT has introduced new embedding models and application programming interface management tools. Moreover, the company intends to lower prices for one of its artificial intelligence configurations. The relevant information is contained in a message published on the OpenAI blog last Thursday, January 25.

One of the main new solutions of the developer of the world’s most popular chatbot is the introduction of two new embedding models, among which text-embedding-3-small and text-embedding-3-large. These embeddings, which are concepts within the content, have been improved to increase performance and effectiveness.

A message posted on the company’s blog also notes that OpenAI has updated its GPT models. Shortly, the cost of access to GPT-3.5 Turbo, which is popular among developers, will be reduced. The revision of the pricing policy will likely contribute to the expansion of the use of this configuration of artificial intelligence. Moreover, as a result of the GPT-3.5 Turbo update, gpt-3.5-turbo-0125, the level of accuracy of responses to consumer requests has been increased. Also, this configuration of artificial intelligence can address a bug related to non-English language function calls.

OpenAI has updated the GPT-4 Turbo preview model, gpt-4-0125. This configuration of artificial intelligence is designed to ensure more complete tasks and reduce the number of cases of inadequate or incomplete responses. Moreover, the company also announced plans to launch a GPT-4 Turbo with vision capabilities.

OpenAI has also made strides in moderation by launching the text-moderation-007 model. The company stated that this development is currently its most robust moderation model. This configuration of artificial intelligence provides developers with the ability to identify potentially harmful text.

The company’s blog post notes that OpenAI has introduced new tools to improve the control and visibility of API usage by developers. These tools allow to creation of permissions for API keys, providing access control to specific endpoints or read-only access for tracking purposes. The usage dashboard and usage export feature provide key-level metrics. In this case, monitoring for each function, product, project, or team is simplified.

The news about updates and additions appeared in the information space after OpenAI was partially credited to the fact that Microsoft’s market valuation reached the $3 trillion mark. A partnership with the developer of the world’s most popular chatbot based on artificial intelligence has allowed the tech giant to provide its customers with access to AI services. Currently, there is an optimistic mood among investors regarding the potential of digital intelligence.

OpenAI’s flagship product, ChatGPT Enterprise, has become popular in the corporate world. Within four months of the launch of this digital product, 260 companies became its users.
