OpenAI on Thursday, December 5, launched a version of its popular chatbot ChatGPT worth $200 per month.

OpenAI Launches $200 ChatGPT Subscription

The mentioned version of the chatbot is intended for use in engineering areas and for research. It is worth noting that OpenAI is currently striving to expand the scope of application of its technology in various industries.

The new tier, called ChatGPT Pro, will be an addition to the existing subscriptions of ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise. It’s worth noting that in this case, there is a clear and unambiguous desire of the company to commercialize its technology, which actually became the initial stage of the so-called artificial intelligence boom, the intensity and scale of which are consistently increasing. The debut of ChatGPT in November 2022 can be described, among other things, as evidence of the significant abilities of AI associated with processing huge amounts of information and generating original content based on user requests.

ChatGPT Pro will provide consumers with access to the most advanced OpenAI tools. In this case, among other things, unlimited access to the new reasoning model o1, o1 mini, GPT-4o, and advanced voice is meant. The relevant information is contained in a message published by OpenAI.

The new subscription also includes o1 pro mode, a version that uses additional computing power to solve more complex queries.

OpenAI said the o1 pro mode performs better on machine learning benchmarks across math, science, and coding compared with the o1 and o1-preview versions.
