Picnic, a Brazil-focused fintech wallet provider, and global payments infrastructure firm Noah have announced a strategic partnership designed to enable USD-native payroll and stablecoin settlement services for Brazilian professionals.

The integration between Noah and Picnic will allow workers to receive their wages directly in U.S. dollars and convert earnings into stablecoins with minimal fees, using regulated stablecoin rails and local payment mechanisms.
Under the collaboration, around 50 000 Picnic users in Brazil will be able to access international salaries instantly, with automatic conversion to stablecoins such as USDC and USDT at zero conversion cost, reducing the impact of traditional foreign exchange fees. The service is intended to support mobile and remote workforces in the country by providing a more transparent and efficient settlement layer than legacy payment systems. Under the new arrangement, payments kept as stablecoins are offering users greater control over their funds while providing compliant infrastructure and local currency access.
Noah, a London-based startup specialising in global stablecoin payment infrastructure and compliant cross-border settlement, has been expanding its presence through partnerships that bring regulated virtual accounts and settlement rails to new markets. Earlier collaborations include Noah’s work with Gnosis, a Web3 infrastructure platform, to introduce regulated USD virtual accounts and compliant stablecoin-to-fiat conversion for users and businesses in the United States and beyond.
In addition to its Gnosis collaboration, Noah has pursued integration with other payment networks and platforms. The firm joined the Circle Payment Network to deepen USDC-based global payroll, remittance and enterprise payment capabilities, further solidifying its focus on expanding stablecoin utility across international payment flows.
Within the broader fintech landscape, stablecoin infrastructure providers like Noah aim to bridge the gap between traditional and digital finance by enabling real-time settlement and multi-jurisdiction payment flows. The company’s technology has also been incorporated into developer platforms and wallet ecosystems to support virtual bank accounts and instant settlement rails across more than 70 markets worldwide.
The Picnic-Noah partnership specifically addresses a longstanding challenge facing many Brazilian workers and freelancers: accessing and retaining the full value of international earnings without incurring high fees or experiencing delays due to currency conversion and cross-border settlement processes.
Brazil has around 25 million self-employed professionals and freelancers across various sectors, making it one of the largest freelance markets globally. Among them, about 83 % either already offer or plan to offer services internationally, targeting clients abroad in markets such as Europe and North America. At the same time, Brazil’s currency (BRL) is often volatile, meaning its value can change quickly against the USD or EUR. For freelancers paid in dollars, this can lead to unexpected money losses.
The rollout timeline for the new Picnic-Noah payroll and settlement features has not been announced yet, but both firms have emphasised their commitment to expanding financial tools that support borderless earning and settlement in regulated frameworks.
