ST Engineering has unveiled new quantum-safe cybersecurity solutions aimed at helping financial institutions and other critical infrastructure operators prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography. The solutions were presented this week at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025.

The company’s new Quantum-Safe Encryptor uses post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and is designed for compatibility with future Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems. It provides high-assurance, low-latency data protection for sensitive networks across government, defence, and enterprise environments, including the financial sector. The hardware-based design helps maintain data integrity and resilience against potential tampering or interception.

ST Engineering also introduced Quantizant, a PQC-readiness platform that supports organisations planning their migration to quantum-resistant encryption. The platform includes tools for cryptographic inventory management, AI-driven risk assessment, and automated migration planning. Its modular design allows testing, hybrid cryptography deployment, and compliance reporting aligned with evolving regulatory standards.

According to industry research by Deloitte (2025), too many enterprises are taking a wait-and-see approach to quantum computing readiness, rather than embracing it early, despite estimates that quantum computers capable of breaking current encryption could emerge within the next decade. ST Engineering’s new offerings aim to support organisations in addressing this readiness gap and managing long-term cryptographic transitions.

At the Singapore FinTech Festival, the company showcased these quantum-safe solutions alongside its broader portfolio of AI-powered cybersecurity technologies designed to enhance operational efficiency and resilience across sectors.

The company’s move aligns with a broader global trend. IBM, Thales, and Quantinuum have each developed quantum-safe key management and encryption frameworks over the past year, signaling an industry-wide shift toward hybrid cryptography strategies that blend classical and post-quantum algorithms.
